A Message from the Producers

Welcome to our website! If you're wondering where we are with the project, we feel that it is very important to keep you informed about where That Guy: the Legacy of Dub Taylor stands.

First, thanks for your interest! It's folks like you that make it even possible for us to make a documentary like this, which we're really passionate about even though we know it's not gonna be a big summer blockbuster.

As things stand now, we're in post-production on the film, hoping to get some important re-edits done before we start pitching it to distributers. Once we secure a distributer, we'll be able to release the completed film to the public. Until then, there are only a few sources to read up on Dub Taylor, though there are literally hundreds of films to watch with his unforgettable mug smiling from the screen. If you're a fan of his B-Western "Cannonball" days, there are some really good fan sites, including The Old Corral, and any page that has our friend Bobby J. Copeland's name on it (There are quite a few, including Saturday Matinee Memories).

We have met quite a few people across the country on this journey to celebrate the life of Dub Taylor, and that journey certainly isn't over. You are very much a part of this tale, as we enjoy many monthly emails from co-workers, family, and friends who believe in this project. In the meantime, we hope you'll join us for our latest film, Di Passaggio, which will premiere at festivals across the country this Spring.

Thanks again for your interest! Please keep telling your friends, Western enthusiasts, and the press about the project, and we'll continue to make the best project possible. With your permission, we'd like to add you to our e-mail list so we can update you when the ball DOES get rolling with the Dub Taylor project.

All the best,
